The winter`s cold grip is fast approaching so now is the time to get the lawn mower and edger prepared for its long winter slumber. Now is also a great time to get the snowblower tuned-up for the snowy days ahead. Here are few tips to make sure everything is in tip-top shape:
Last mowing of the fall should be a little shorter height
Run the mower until the gas-tank is dry, if mower is stored inside the house for the winter - or else add a fuel stabilizer if mower is stored out in a shed or garage.
change the mower`s oil, clean mower`s underside, and change air filter
If it`s been a several years, consider taking your mower and edgers in for a tune-up
Turn off home sprinkler / irrigation system, and drain if needed
