Video: Monsoon Rains Cause Tucson Backyard Flash Flood
August 4, 2017
By WeatherBug
Monsoon rains in Tucson, Arizona brought enough precipitation to cause a flash flood in a backyard on Thursday, August 3.
The southwest monsoon season has brought several inches of rain stretching from southern California, Arizona and New Mexico into the central High Plains.
Floods like this have been occuring for about a month as heavy downpours cause water levels to rise, drain pipes to back up and streets to become rivers.
