Hourly Forecast - Buon Me Thuot, VNM

The Texas Gulf Coast will get hit by heavy rain Wednesday night through Friday, with areas of flash flooding likely.

A slow upper-level low will move across northern Mexico through midweek, drawing Gulf moisture into southern Texas. This will start to take shape late Wednesday as moderate to heavy rain and embedded storms form over south-central Texas, which will shift eastward toward Corpus Christi and Rockport Wednesday night.

This area of heavy rain and storms will very slowly translate northeastward along the Texas Gulf Coast over the course of Thursday and Friday, resulting in areas receiving several inches of rain from Corpus Christi to Houston and Beaumont. Rain amounts of 2 to 6 inches are likely, with locally higher amounts of 6 to 10 inches possible. The highest rain amounts will likely stay south of Houston.

While not as clear of a picture, heavy rain and localized flash flooding could also be in store for parts of Louisiana Thursday night through Saturday morning, with 1 to 3 inches of rain possible mainly across the southern half of the state.
