Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected on top of the 4 to 6 inches that has fallen today. In addition, strong northwest winds gusting to 40 to 50 mph are expected overnight, leading to a continuation of blizzard conditions in open areas of western and southern Minnesota through early Monday morning. A Blizzard Warning is in effect west of a line from Long Prairie to St. Cloud, the southwest Twin Cities metro, and Albert Lea. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the rest of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
