Total snow accumulations between 8 and 14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibility reduced to as low as one quarter mile or less at times. * WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta and Western Capes. * WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST Monday. * IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one quarter mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Whiteout conditions will be possible at times from this afternoon through this evening due to strong winds and heavy snow. Winds decrease tonight into Monday morning, so visibilities on Monday will likely drop no lower than one-half to one mile in snow and blowing snow. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely.
