Additional snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches in the most persistent lake snows across the Tug Hill Plateau, and 2 to 4 inches for the surrounding lower elevations. Winds gusting as high as 35 to 40 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The greatest additional accumulations will be across the Tug Hill Plateau, with much lower accumulations across the lower elevations. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday. Lake effect snow will increase in intensity again this morning and continue through much of tonight, before diminishing late. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads and reduced visibility at times.
