An approaching cold front will bring gusty showers to the area through this evening. With these showers, southwest winds upwards of 30 mph with isolated instances of gusts reaching 35 to 40 mph will be possible. The main cold front then passes through later this evening and along it there will be a small potential for wind gusts as high as 45 mph. Winds of this magnitude could blow around yard decorations and garbage cans, as well as make for difficult driving.
