A cluster of snow showers is currently moving across portions of DuPage and Cook Counties early this evening. Snow could become locally heavy with quick accumulations of up to half an inch paired with visibility dropping below one half mile leading to hazardous and rapidly varying travel conditions. In addition, winds will occasionally gust to 35 mph leading to wind whipped snowfall at times. Motorists should use extra caution early this evening and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions over short distances for the next 1 to 2 hours.
