Per coordination with our partners, the recent dry weather has caused fine dead fuels across the region to dry out. If any fires were to start the weather and fuel conditions could cause fires to quickly get out of control and be difficult to contain. Based on past pollen counts and expected weather conditions, pollen levels for Thursday will be falling in the low range. This decrease is due to falling temperatures, rising humidity, and heavy rains in the morning and afternoon which tend to wash pollen out of the air.
