Additionally flooding of properties near or in low-lying and flood-prone locations between Maxfield and Howland is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 818 PM EDT, Penobscot County Emergency Management and the Public reported flooding due to an Ice Jam on the Piscataquis River in Maxfield to Howland. Flooding along the Maxfield and North Howland Roads are threatening homes. Sections of the North Howland Road is closed due to flooding in Maxfield. Large ice chunks have been pushed into properties between Maxfield and Howland. - Water may rise upstream of the jam and cause low-lying flooding in Medford downstream of Trestle Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
