-Flood Advisory National Weather Service San Francisco CA 349 PM PST Mon Jan 5 2026 Marin CA-Sonoma CA- 349 PM PST Mon Jan 5 2026 ...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Marin County and the Highway 101 corridor into Sonoma County. * Until 600 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 349 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Petaluma, San Rafael, Novato, Rohnert Park, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Tiburon, Fairfax, Cotati, Sausalito, San Geronimo, Lucas Valley-Marinwood, Point Reyes Station, Black Point-Green Point, Kentfield, Stinson Beach, Muir Beach and Tamalpais-Homestead. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
