Menominee River near Niagara affecting Menominee, Dickinson, Florence and Marinette Counties. Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Menominee, Dickinson and Marinette Counties. For the Menominee River...including Florence, Twin Falls Dam-Iron Mountain, Vulcan, Niagara, Koss, McAllister...Moderate flooding is forecast. # DETAILS -------------------- WHAT Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. WHERE Menominee River near Niagara. WHEN Until late Friday night. IMPACTS At 15.0 feet, Flood waters reach the Aurora Fire Protection station. ADDITIONAL DETAILS - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - RECENT ACTIVITY The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Sunday was 14.6 feet. - FORECAST - The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
