Weather Alerts For Oakfield, WI
Flood Watch
-# HEADLINE -------------------- FLOOD WATCH EXTENDED IN SOUTHEASTERN AREAS FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING # SUMMARY -------------------- Additional shower and storm development is forecast through the overnight hours, with activity gradually tapering after sunrise this morning. Expecting that additional rainfall totals will remain at or below a half inch in many locations, though localized additional rainfall totals between 1-2 inches are possible in locations impacted by the heaviest thunderstorms and any repeated redevelopment. Given already saturated conditions, particularly over the southeast half of the region after last night's storms, this additional rainfall will lead to quick runoff and additional urban/small stream & potential flash flooding impacts. With thunderstorm potential most favored over far south-central and southeastern Wisconsin, the Flood Watch has thus been extended until 1 PM this afternoon from Rock, Jefferson, Washington, and all counties south and east to the Illinois border. Flood Watch remains in effect through 7 AM in areas further north and west. # DETAILS -------------------- WHAT Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. WHERE Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, in east central Wisconsin, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan.
