URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Tiyan GU 301 PM ChST Sat Feb 14 2026 Kosrae-Pohnpei- 301 PM ChST Sat Feb 14 2026 ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CHST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet. * WHERE...Along north and east facing reefs of Kosrae and north facing reefs of Pohnpei. * WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The primary northeasterly trade swell and a slowly decreasing secondary northerly swell is supporting hazardous surf of 9 feet along north facing reefs of Pohnpei and north and east facing reefs of Kosrae. As the swells continue to decrease, surf should drop below hazardous levels late tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
