Elevated fire weather conditions will escalate to critical Sunday, with a significant wind shift expected to move through the forecast area Sunday with winds increasing and becoming northerly.

* WINDS...Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph gusting to around 30 mph becoming north 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid 70s in northwest Oklahoma to near 100 in western north Texas.
