At 217 PM EST, radar indicated an intense lake effect snow band along a line extending from near Elyria to 6 miles west of Akron, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARDS INCLUDE... Winds to 30 mph... Visibility rapidly dropping to less than a quarter of a mile... Snow rates of up to 1 inch per hour... Locations impacted include... Akron, Lorain, Elyria, Medina, Vermilion, Parma, Cuyahoga Falls, Strongsville, Brunswick, North Royalton, North Ridgeville, Barberton, Hudson, Wadsworth, Tallmadge, Amherst, Macedonia, Grafton, Stow, and Broadview Heights. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.
