The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM Thursday to 6 PM MST Friday. The Fire Weather Watch has been upgraded. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 430, 431, 432, 433, 435, 436, and 437. * WIND...West to northwest winds 20 to 25 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH on Thursday. Stronger winds expected on Friday with gusts over 45 MPH possible. * HUMIDITY...10 to 20 percent, with the lowest relative humidity expected Friday. Poor overnight humidity recoveries are expected Thursday night. * HIGHEST THREAT...The most critical fire weather conditions are expected along the Interstate 80 corridor east of the Laramie Range into the southern Nebraska Panhandle. The driest conditions are expected here with some of the strongest winds. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
