Areas of fog will reduce the visibility to one quarter mile or less in parts of western and central North Dakota this morning through early this afternoon. In addition, the fog may deposit a thin layer of frost on road surfaces, creating slippery roadways. Those traveling this Christmas Day should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility and road conditions, and should use extra caution when driving. Use low beam headlights and be extra cautious at intersections and railroad crossings. Conditions will slowly improve this afternoon.
